Paulie’s House was created from lived experience, personal loss, and a deep belief in second chances.

I know firsthand how difficult reentry can be. As a young person navigating the justice system, I faced barriers that could have easily defined my future. What changed my life was access—access to education, opportunity, and people who believed in me when it mattered most. That experience became the foundation for Paulie’s House.

After the passing of my mother, whose life was rooted in service and compassion, I felt called to honor her legacy by helping others rebuild their lives. Paulie’s House is my commitment to ensuring justice-impacted individuals are met with support, dignity, and real opportunities—not just expectations.

Paulie’s House goes beyond traditional reentry services. We provide comprehensive, wraparound support that includes stable housing, employment assistance, transportation, mental health referrals, financial literacy, and long-term pathways to independence and homeownership. We meet people where they are and walk alongside them every step of the way.

Our mission is simple: to reduce recidivism by removing barriers and restoring hope. We believe strong communities are built when individuals are given the tools, support, and respect needed to succeed.

This work is personal. It is purposeful. And it is driven by the belief that lasting change happens when opportunity is backed by action.

Director of Housing 

At Paulie’s House, housing is the foundation of stability—and that belief is reflected in the leadership guiding our work.

Our Housing Director, Andres, brings deep roots in the community and a long-standing commitment to expanding access to safe, stable, and affordable housing. Having worked on numerous housing projects throughout the community, Andres understands both the systemic challenges residents face and the practical solutions required to address them. His work is grounded in relationships, trust, and an intimate knowledge of the neighborhoods we serve.

Andres has spent years collaborating with landlords, developers, service providers, and local stakeholders to create housing opportunities that are sustainable and community-centered. His experience spans housing development, placement, and navigation, with a focus on ensuring that individuals and families are not only housed, but supported in maintaining long-term stability.

At Paulie’s House, Andres leads with the understanding that housing is more than a physical space—it is the starting point for employment, wellness, accountability, and personal growth. His leadership ensures that our participants are met with dignity, consistency, and realistic pathways to permanent housing.

Through his deep community ties and proven track record, Andres plays a critical role in advancing our mission to reduce recidivism, strengthen neighborhoods, and create lasting change—one home at a time.

Director of Policy and Procedures 

At Paulie’s House, strong policy and clear procedures are essential to delivering ethical, compliant, and effective services. This work is led by Abdul, whose extensive experience in compliance and policy development ensures that every program operates with integrity, consistency, and accountability.

Abdul brings a deep understanding of regulatory frameworks, risk management, and organizational compliance, with a proven track record of developing and implementing policies and procedures that align with state and federal standards. His experience spans intake and case management protocols, confidentiality and data protection, audit preparedness, staff training, and continuous quality improvement.

At Paulie’s House, Abdul plays a critical role in translating mission into structure. He works closely with leadership and program staff to build clear, practical systems that support high-quality service delivery while protecting participants, staff, and the organization. His approach emphasizes clarity, efficiency, and scalability—ensuring policies are not only compliant, but workable in real-world settings.

Abdul’s leadership strengthens Paulie’s House by creating a solid operational foundation that is funder-ready, audit-ready, and built for sustainable growth. Through his expertise, the organization is positioned to expand responsibly while maintaining the highest standards of ethical practice and program excellence.

Director of Psychiatry 

At Paulie’s House, mental health care is a cornerstone of successful reentry and long-term stability. This work is led by Monica, our Director of Psychiatry, whose extensive background reflects a deep commitment to serving both her community and the individuals within it.

Monica brings years of experience providing compassionate, client-centered psychiatric care to diverse and underserved populations. Her work is grounded in an understanding of trauma, behavioral health challenges, and the complex realities faced by justice-impacted individuals. Through her leadership, psychiatric services are delivered with empathy, professionalism, and cultural responsiveness.

As Director of Psychiatry, Monica oversees the integration of mental health support into Paulie’s House’s holistic reentry model. She collaborates closely with case managers, community providers, and program leadership to ensure participants receive appropriate assessments, referrals, and continuity of care. Her approach prioritizes dignity, trust, and individualized treatment planning.

Monica’s dedication to community service and clinical excellence strengthens Paulie’s House’s ability to address mental wellness as a critical factor in reducing recidivism and supporting lasting reintegration. Her leadership ensures that participants are not only supported clinically, but genuinely seen, heard, and respected throughout their journey.
